Students survive on pocket money. After all we do not work full-time and thus do not earn wages. Often we are hopeless short of money. So either we sit out our poverty at home or go out to earn some extra pocket money.
Sometimes when an individual become lazy, they just sit out theirs period of financial dryness at home. At least they do not have to spend any money at home. Food and lodging are free. All, they have to do is to make sure that they do not make nuisance of their self and things are all right.
Sometimes however, as an individual, they do need to get some extra money, so without thinking more about how to get that, they go out in search of work to do. Some people hold this principle, when I say work, I mean honest, legal labour in exchange for hard cash. Do not mean things like extortion or anything unlawful.
Once in a while, some older folks need help in doing odd jobs around their house. These are folks whose children have left and they pretty much live on their own. Sometimes they need help to move the furniture, or move some flower pots even when they drink, it’s so do. But most of the job involve gardening. Some individual but not me, out there perhaps, they really love garden so this type of job is suited for them. However the one thing I like the most about helping old folks is that they treat the teenager’s visitor like their son. That is just the things is make me feels comfortable. At the time, they would come and bring out cakes or drinks and tell the visitors some advices and sometimes also they would tell all sorts of stories of their life. From that I realize that they are lonely and all they want is someone to talk to. So as individual out there including me must play role of son to few old folks nearby. It can keep them cheerful and me with pocket money.
I have also the other way to earning money. There are like baby-sitting and giving tuition to younger kids. I have not done any of these because i do not have the time. There may be other types of part time jobs available too such as promoter or supplier. Anyway, anyone who is interest may be able to sniff them out and earn some pocket money to spend or save whichever his or her preference is.

Likes and dislikes at home.
There is no place like home, as the saying goes, but i guess it is just a matter opinion. I am sure everybody has some likes and some dislikes associated with his or her home. I, as the individual, have the most likes than dislikes at home. When the weekends come I simply love to getting up late in the morning instead of having to force myself to get up early to go to school on school days. Lying in bed on Saturday morning while surfing the internet is my hobby. I love to play game and the most important thing is i will never ever forget to sign in to “Facebook”. This is my almost routine for everyday. I would like to thanks to mom and dad because they really understand me. They gave me a laptop and also the ability of wireless at home. It make me easy to surf the internet.
Listening to the VCD player of latest English songs and watching TV (good programmes that is) are what i like to do as well. Especially during the weekends and holidays when there are most programmes are on the air. I particularly like pop rock music played loudly. It lifts my spirit up and makes the whole day feel good. Wow! Strange how the feeling can be more pleasant in myself. My mom and dad does not care for this because they understand how the teenagers being. Sometimes me and mom would spent any time together during the weekends to karaoke. The house would be shaking at that time with the full of noise thingy. This shows how happy we are as a family.
I like and dislikes mealtimes. I like the food but I dislike when I am get to eat alone without my lovely mom, dad and my sweet little sister. I love when there too many of them crowding at the table at one time. Even though it is easy task getting fair share from two siblings only, I love the environment around in this family. My parents would not be at home while they working. I dislikes when eating alone, there is no feeling to eat. Sometimes the food will change taste, from good to be bad taste and yet I will not eat. This is the bad things if I am eating alone. Sometimes i will wait them until they finish their work to accompany me eating.
All in that, I would say that i like at home. The companionship, fun and the joy of living that can only be derived from a group of eldest who do not have a single care in life. Of course there are times when we have clash, sometimes bitter, but these are rare and quickly forgotten. The likes more abundant and memorable than the dislikes.

Story Of An Adult.
I am 35 years-old and have a family, the decision to return to school was a big one for me. I returned to school so I could finish the degree I started several years ago, to better myself at my present job, and to provide a better life for my family.
I have been to college several times. I originally received an Associates of Applied Science degree in Business Management. I worked in an accounting office at a local manufacturing company for a little over a year and realized this is not exactly what I wanted to do. I then went back to school and received an Associate of Arts degree as a Medical Assistant. I worked as a medical assistant for years and loved it. I thought I had found my calling.
It wasn’t until I found my previous job that I realized there is more to the healthcare field than just assisting the doctor. I had been with the doctor’s office for about six month, when one of the girls in the front went on vacation. The doctors asked me to work for her while she was gone because I knew the system and how to handle insurance. I gladly accepted because of the change of pace. I quickly discovered that I like doing insurance and billing.
There was some big changes going on in the office and the office manager and the insurance/billing specialist was let go. The doctors then asked me to keep doing that job, so I did. After about a month and a horrible experience with a new office manager, the doctors asked me to take over as office manager. I was so excited and nervous. That is the biggest reason I chose to go back to school right now. I am trying to obtain my bachelors degree in Healthcare Administration so I can improve myself at work.

hello mello. i am nurul amani binti nor'aijelah, a simple yet meaningful name given by my beloved parents. at home and school, my family and friends call me mynn for short. i was born on 12th of september 1992 at tawau general hospital that takes an hour ride from my hometown, kunak. i have quiet a small family with me being the eldest and my younger sister, nurul ain, a chubby little nine year old girl. she is currently in standard two at sekolah kebangsaan kunak 1, kunak. as for my parents, both of them are teachers. my father is a secondary school mathematic teacher while my mother on the other hand, is a master holder counsellor at my secondary school, sekolah menengah kebangsaan kunak. i am very lucky to have them as my parents not only because they have such an impressive academic background but also the way they had brought me up.
they pushes me to my very best and taught me to never give up in life. they had my back and support me in everything that i do. i can always count on them each and everytime i am in trouble. they are really open-minded and always give me freedom to decide for myself. i am so grateful to be their daughter.
